It was…the first magazine devoted solely to science fiction. This is the British edition, published by Thorpe and Porter from June 1950 to February 1955, in different sizes and schedules. This issue contains: a range of feature articles, a novel by Rog Philllips, "Weapon from the Stars", shorts by Roy B. Frentz and Alexander Blade, a novelet by Walt Sheldon and a novelet by Frederic Brown, "Gateway to Glory". This issue was probably distributed in Australia: it has a printed "price in Australia" in shillings. Cover painting by Robert Gibson Jones (illustrator).
