NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks. Bernard Quentin (b. 1923 ), arrived in Paris in 1940 where he studied painting, sculpture and architecture at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris until 1947. During the war, he joined the resistance. In 1945, he attended the House of the French Thought and quickly became a regular in St Germain-des-Pr?s, alongside the Paris intelligentsia (philosophers, poets, writers, painters and sculptors, actors, musicians). Bernard Quentin travels extensively and shows his work in personal or collective exhibitions as early as 1945, participating in many Parisian salons, multiform artist, painter (oil, gouache, watercolors), draftsman, illustrator, sculptor, tapestry painter, mosaicist, stained glass, sets In addition to various achievements according to the periods, Bernard Quentin will anchor his work in a continuous way on the object-letter and the word-object.
