When Royal Mail went under, its shareholders were left empty-handed. In his Introduction to the volume, Collin Brooks, an expert in explaining the world of finance to laypersons, deftly limns the ins and outs of the Royal Mail case. Professor Alan M. Dershowitz, in the Introduction he has written exclusively for the Notable Trials Library, remarks on similarities to present-day corporate malfeasance in the United States.
