A few years before this show digital photographic processes were coming into the forefront of photography. It was a development, which overshadowed and still overshadows the old black & white process. This photography is a fine art form now being pressed by time. A black & white photograph is a picture of the soul of the motive. The naturalness of the picture, the colours, are withdrawn. Here is only light and shadow and mixtures of both.
