Copley Library, with the San Diego newspaper publisher and philanthropist's bookplate to the front pastedown. Original brown buckram binding, with a pictorial paper title label on the front and gilt titles on the spine. Internally crisp and clean. Small bookseller's label to the rear pastedown. A few small, unobtrusive bits of tape to the pastedowns and to the flaps and verso of the dust jacket (presumably from an old dust jacket protector). The dust jacket is price-clipped; otherwise near fine. Inscribed by Illustrator.
