Courrier adressé au peintre etsecrétaire général de la Société nationale des Beaux-artsHippolyte Durand-Tahier(1864-1899). "Dear Sir. I regretI shall not be able to be present at the annualbanquet of the Société Nationale de Beaux-Arts. I have the Honor to be yours [.]". Quatre ans plus tard, il remporta unemédaille d'argent à l'exposition universelle de 1900, à Paris. Peintre de genre post-impressionniste anglais.
