The recipient Eileen Cond was an enthusiastic collector of autographs, and had the ability to draw a more than perfunctory response from her targets. 1p, 4to. On lightly aged and creased paper, with stain from coffee splashing to top left corner (well away from the firm valediction and signature. Reads (with autograph text in square brackets): '[22/XII/63 / Dear Mrs Cond.] / Thank you for your Christmas card - and I'm sorry you'll not get one from me.
