It was officially open for business on April 1, 1972. "The company was founded on the concept of providing engineering and merit shop construction services for capital-intensive industrial projects." There are signatures on the reverse side of the front cover of persons listed in the index. One of those is Bill Edmonds, a founding member of the corporation.
