Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Brown was an American science fiction. fantasy and mystery writer whose publishing career stretched from the late 1930's through the late 1960's. Several of his science fiction stories have appeared in "best of" anthologies. Many writers have cited Brown stories as influential in their own development. This is a collection of 29 stories that includes "Arena", one of his most heralded works. This copy is plain but has clean pages and a tight binding. A previous owner idd write their name in it and marked the story "Knock" in the contents listing. This seller is in Taos, NM, a place where Brown and his family resided for many years. It provides the setting for his novel "The Far Cry" in 1951.
