This is a note from scholar and poet, Blankner, to Chicago native, Donald Roscher, who was the editor of Gambit Magazine, in NYC. With the note, Blankner sent along a typescript of her poem, "To Queen Nefertiti", and three printed poems from her collection, ALL MY YOUTH. She chaired the Classics Department at Adelphi College, and is repured to have been the first woman poet to have been appointed "Poet in Residence". Blankner was an alumna of the University of Chicago.
