Condition: Very Good. First edition hard back binding in publisher's original donkey brown cloth covers, dark brown title lettering to the spine and to the upper panel, end paper maps. Small folio 11'' x 9''. Contains 129 printed pages of text with 12 coloured illustrations either carried out by Ivor Hele or Harold B. Herbert, black and white photographs, and black and white illustrations, and maps, all illustrations were produced by serving members of The Armed Forces. Small marks to the covers. Very Good condition book in Good condition dust wrapper with chips and related tears to the spine ends and bottom corners. Dust wrapper supplied in archive acetate film protection, it does not adhere to the book or to the dust wrapper. Member of the P.B.F.A. AUSTRALIA (Terra Australis).
