First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Good+. First Edition. First edition, hardcover, spine lean, light foxing to boards, foxing within especially to endpapers, light soiling to page edges, tiny chip to top corner of page 5, couple of dog-eared pages, otherwise solid, a Good+ copy in like dustjacket which has a half inch chip to the top of the spine, some foxing to the rear panel and a few short, closed tears.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Included. 1st Edition. 1st edition, 1st printing hardback (circa 1935 although no date) in unclipped dustjacket. Book in near fine condition, with no inscriptions. Jacket with chip at bottom of spine. Not a book club edition, ex library or a remainder. I am happy to supply scans.

Cloth. Condition: Good. H M Bateman (illustrator). Undated, believed to be 1937. Textblock firm with slight spotting and some dustiness to the edges, signature on fep, binding firm, cover sound with some browning particularly to the spine. Pics available Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
