Der vorliegende Band, der immerhin ein Jahrzehnt nach dem Tode Franckes und damit eines des Hauptvertreters des Pietismus erschien, ist vor allem für jene interessant, die sich mit der Spätphase des hallischen Pietismus oder der pietistischen Straflehre im Allgemeinen sowie der Theologie der Frankeschen Stiftungen / Glauchaschen Anstalten im Besonderen beschäftigen, als der pietistische Erweckungsweg bereits zu einem ausgefeilten System von Erlösungsregularien geworden war, um die die Theorie der göttlichen Strafen die notwendige Klammer bildete. - Einband und Außengelenke berieben, letztere etwas angebrochen. Schnitt leicht angestaubt, Papier gleichmäßig etwas gebräunt und leicht stockfleckig. Lagen noch unaufgeschnitten. Insgesamt noch gutes und intaktes, maßvoll gealtertes Exemplar im ursprünglichen Verlags-Auslieferungszustand. Sprache: Deutsch Gewicht in Gramm: 1490 8° (19,5 x 12,5 cm).
