Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Bound in Victorian crushed morocco, with gilt tooled detail to the spine and boards. Brass edge surrounds and clasp engraved with initials. Light rubbing along the joints and at the spine ends, a few small marks to the rear board. All edges gilt. A few light marks to the closed page edges. Hinges… perhaps a touch loose. A lovely litle early Victorian pocket book, with charming gilt decorations and clasp.

Add to basket11 x 7.5cm. Attractive contemporary binding of full plum morocco with elaborate decoration in gilt and with colour morocco onlays to the boards and spine. All edges gilt. A very good copy, the binding firm with a little rubbing and minor loss to the onlays, a touch of wear to the head of the joints and minor rubbing to the extre…mities. The contents with a touch of cracking to the hinges in places and with one gathering and one other leaf standing slightly proud of the textblock are otherwise in good order. An appealing mid nineteenth-century pocket prayer book in a charming contemporary binding.
