Intimate biography of the United States Senator from New Mexico and Secretary of the Interior under President Warren G. Harding who became infamous for his involvement in the Teapot Dome scandal, written by his granddaughter. Fall (1861-1…944) was the only person convicted as a result of the affair; the epithet "fall guy" is said to derive from his surname. Small octavo: [vi], 151, [3] pp. with photographic illustrations. Original brown leatherette binding, with gilt-stamped titling. A fine copy. Signed.
