Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good+. Second Edition. Later (11th) printing of the revised second edition, luxuriously rebound by David Ashley in decorated leather with handwoven end bands, gilt edge treatment, leather hinges and marbled endpapers, housed in a custom, matching clamshell case. The b…ook has a very minor lean to the binding, shallow gaps starting between the text block and case at the spine ends, slight fraying to the tail of the placeholder ribbon, and a previous owner's stamps and penned notes to the half title page with their bookplate to the facing page. Overall, this is a beautiful, bright and tight, Very Good+ copy in a like clamshell, which has very light bumps to the spine ends and corners, the previous owner's marks with an affixed piece of personal ephemera to the base tray, and a print mounted in the upper tray.
