Bound in the original green cloth, elaborately decorated in blind with gilt titling to the upper cover and a gilt-lettered and decorated spine; binder's ticket of Burn to the rear paste-down. The interior is clean and well-preserved, the plates bright and crisp with rich colouring, and only light spotting to the title-page. The binding a little worn, with bumped corners and fraying at the spine ends; the cloth is torn along the rear joint, and the front hinge is broken, though the volume remains intact and is held by the rear joint. A delicate but appealing copy, suitable for careful restoration, which can be arranged at cost.
