Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Rare original 1926 copy of "The Devil's Circus: Behind the Scenes of Circus Life based on the Motion Picture Story." The book is illustrated with 3 scenes from the 1926 silent film directed by Danish director Benjamin Christensen (misspelled as Christianson on the cover & title page) and starring Norma Shearer and Charles Emmett. It is softcover and is bound in its original paper wrappers. The wrappers only have some light wear. The binding is good and sound. The interior is toned from age but generally nice and clean though there may be some occasional light foxing and grubbiness. About 4 leaves or so have a couple of tiny nicks to the side margin. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection, such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, minor stain or marking, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. It measures approximately 7 7/8 inches by 5 3/8 inches.…
