Magazine. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Please note: This is NOT A BOOK nor is it a full copy of the journal, but an original article/ad; the pages have normal age discoloration. ; SCARCE ORIGINAL VINTAGE ARTICLE; pages 6x9-1/2; 6 pages; This book, mistakenly translated to "South County St.Louis" is actually about the south side of St. Louis City where the Bosnians bought buildings and houses, opened stores and restaurants, lived and worked, and generally exposed the St. Louis population to their culture. The author "Lilly", writes beautiful, sensitive vignettes about the people of this community, vignettes which describe their spirit much like Isaac Bashevis Singer and his world of long ago. It is more amazing since English is not the author' s native language and one finishes this book with a great desire to read her works in her native tongue. I wish every booklover would read these tales.
