Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Colour plates, black and white plates and text illustrations throughout. (illustrator). 1st Edition. First edition 1947. Coloured, black and white plates and text illustrations throughout. Includes a loosely inserted typescript letter, which has the editor's note+ price and description of the book. It has the name of the editor and Lowdham, Notts., July 1947 in typescript at the bottom. Contents very good. Front inner hinge slightly cracked (only the paper). Publishers buff cloth lightly marked and rubbed. The lettering on the spine is unevenly darkened. Generally a good copy.
