(as Christmas gift) from A. Edward Dyer and Mattie P. Fox Dyer' (both of whom are listed, at least by family name, in the book itself. 328 pages with three folding large folding maps, 1 is the original plat map another a street and river map dated 1937 and the last, folding one, is of the town in 1869. 2 more single-page maps and an additional 70+ Illustrations including: portraits, buildings, artifacts, Trip-Hammer shop - 3, RR Depot. etc. NOTE: this is NOT a reprint, it is the original first edition printed in 1937. Very Scarce thus. No other examples of this 1st edition are currently for sale anywhere on the net.…
