Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Bartlett (illustrator). 5th or later Edition. Seventeenth edition. Not dated - date with dedication is 1891. In good plus brown pictorial boards with coloured image of river and trees and gilt flowers and gilt titles to front, and pictorial spine with gilt title field and brown titles. The boards are flat and clean and quite firm; the spine ends are slightly worn and the tail corners are frayed. The end papers are quite fayed and marked and the front free end paper has a dedication. The text block is illustrated with 20 black and white drawings by Bartlett and the pages are securely attached to the boards and with a slight horizontal warp. The cut edges are foxed as are the end pages, publisher's list to rear and some page edges. Good plus condition. Without jacket.
