In 1944 the British Mountaineering Council was formed, to represent the common interests of the various mountaineering and rock climbing clubs of England, Wales and Scotland. One of its first decisions was to prepare a book for British climbers, whose numbers have grown so vastly in recent years, and may be expected to increase even more rapidly in the first years after the War. This is the book which grew out of that decision. 160pp Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾". Not Inscribed or Signed.
