Hardcover. Condition: Good. Pp [4] xv [1] 189 [2], with 100 drawings and 10 plates. Publisher's maroon cloth gilt. Ex-lib with a few stamps.

Half-Leather. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Half leather with gilt lettering on the spine, and gilt ruled compartments. Marbled paper boards, with marbled endpapers.xv, 189 pages plus one page of publisher's ads. illustrated with 10 plates and 100 figures some on fold out pages. 5.75 X 8.75 inches. A very good copy, sound and solid leather binding , first and last pages slightly browned, as are the page edges, otherwise clean and unmarked throughout. Text is in French.
