Pages clean, bright, and unmarked. 2014 Spiral-Bound Softcover. viii, 246 pp. Taking The Illustrated History of Niagara County published by Sanford & Company in 1878 as a guide, this work offers contemporary descriptions of important buildings and sites throughout Niagara County, examining how the area has changed in the interstitial years. These are illustrated with reproductions of early engravings and also with modern black-and-white photographs. An interesting retrospective of an important region of New York State.
