A crisp copy, in original state, of a cheaply produced succinct guide book intended for the use of tourists visiting Lucknow, seemingly first published in 1910. The author, 'In the… hope of lessening the difficulties of sight-seeing at Lucknow', provides an itinerary for the would-be tourist, taking in the historical monuments, bazaars, and gardens of the city. The work concludes with a succinct history of Lucknow during the 1857 Mutiny. All editions are scarce, with this fifth being no exception; OCLC records a single copy (BL), COPAC adds no further. Size: 12mo.
