This book is the true story of the events which occurred in Egypt during the last year of King Farouk's rule in 1952. The author was a professor at Farouk El-Awal University in Cairo at this time. He witnessed civil disorder, rebellion against the British, the fire riots in Cairo, anarchy and revolution.
