Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dustjacket. Reprint. Reprint, hardcover, has previous owner's stamp to upper corner of first free endpage, binding is a little loose but solid, has light bump to top of spine with very slight bumps to corners and base of spine, some rubbing to boards and spine, and a very slight touch of shelfwear to edges of boards and text block, otherwise a solid VG copy.

Tall thick 4to. 1352 pp. 1000s of illusts., diagrams, photos, a couple colour-illust. ads. Black cloth, gilt lettrng, NF copy, w/ bkplate on frnt pstdn. First Kalmbach facsimile edition (Simmons-Boardman, 1940) of this incomparable reference work on industrial and passenger railroad cars just before World War II. The extensive sections on Pullman and sleeping cars, private cars, motor trains, lighting, provide excellent details on the railroads of the period.
