A memorial for Robinson Jeffers by Brother Antoninus (William Everson). Privately printed in an edition of 205 copies signed by the author, of which this is one of only 5 boxed copies not available for sale (Bartlett and Cam…po A20). This copy has been signed by Brother Antoninus on the rear endpaper preceding the colophon. Leather spine faded, a hint of rubbing to the foot of the spine, endsheets heavily foxed, else a fine copy in near fine slipcase. Loosely inserted is a letter stating that this particular copy was the poet William Everson's own copy of what is probably his greatest poem, and is likely to be the only copy of this issue ever to be available for sale. Printed on Tovil paper. cream paper-covered boards over purple Morocco in a slipcase, leather spine label. Auerhahn Press (illustrator).
