Hardcover. engraving & wood cuts. (illustrator). 1st edition. GOOD book. (5) full p steel engravings, (4) in text wood cuts. Front cover detached, first blanks loose. 14"x10",416pp. Worn. Top 2" of spine chipped away. Rest of spine decent. Gilt spine lettering & decoration. Binding tight, no other loose leaves. Text clean & bright. Few scattered spots of foxing, aging or soiling. Damp stain line on lower front spine only effecting blanks & prelims, not into text. GOOD bound vol, July 1835 thru June 1836 complete newspaper run.
