    Hardcover. Condition: Good. Lightly faded, soiled and worn orange boards with blind-stamped border and decoration on front cover, gilt print and decoration along spine. Extremities are mildly rubbed. Markings from previous owner at rear pastedown and last free endpaper. Binding is beginning to loosen, though remains solid. Interior is age-toned with some signs of foxing and minor scoring in pencil, text remains clean and clear.

Four raised bands to spine, with gilt titling in second compartment. TEG, and lightly marbled endpapers. [xi]+552pp. Near very good book. Boards lightly shelfworn; top corners bumped and some scuffing to bottom edge. Spine quite sunned, and light sunning to top edge. Titling gilt faded. Spotting and light toning to page edges. Front hinge paper cracked. Lovely bookplate to front pastedown, along with small early bookseller's label. Interior lightly foxed but otherwise clean.
