Pea green cloth covered boards halfbound in a forest green cloth backstrip with shiny gilt lettering on the spine. Book has light bumping at the head of the spine and a fair amount of bumping at the tail. Lime green endpapers. Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, white, and crisp. 334 pages. Dust Jacket has a trace of rubbing at the head and tail of the spine with a 1/4" chip in the head. 1/8" chip in the very tip of each of the two upper outside corners. Nice copy! An "affectionate and humorous look at those books and hardback heroes that at one time occupied the imagination of so many Amertican children: The Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, Dr. Fu Manchu, Tom Swift," Baseball Joe, The Rover Boys, Tarzan of the Apes, etc.
