Some marks to yellow background soft covers; back cover is cream and has tears which have been taped and with a small loss to left top corner. B&W illustrations - a few of them have been coloured in. Large print so for the younger child. Slim soft cover with wear to covers' corners and edges. Stapled spine rather rubbed and is plain light yellow. Last page is creased and there is a brown mark to top staple area o/w pages reasonably clean.

Upper board is illustrated in colour. Heavily worn to the corners and along the edges. Stain and crease to the lower board. Both boards have some soil and scratches. Inside pages have occasional light soil but the illustrations are largely unmarked and bright. Eleven of Aesop's fables, each including a moral. Illustrated in colour.
