Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION. Original quarter red cloth (spine) and paste-down paper covered boards, 8x12 inches, containing 62 of the original 64 laid-in plates. Very good. Some tanning on boards, ½ x 1 inch bit of paper stuck to front board, tanning along margins of plates, MISSING plates 14 and 63, ½ inch chip off of plate 10, lower corners of plates 31, 32, and 33 creased, two previous owner's name and address rubber stamps on inside front cover, otherwise clean and unmarked. Art; engravings.

Each plate contains multiple decorative examples. This copy missing plates 7, 19, and 30 (all color plates are prresent). Showing wear and rubbing to portfolio, pages toned, Previous owner's stamp to plate versos. The first in the series "Documents décoratifs; beaux-arts, industries d'art" (Edition / Charles Moreau), and not to be confused with the much more common Broderies Chinoises by Henri Ernst.
