He was the first president of "The Rangers Football Club", thanks to his Argyll ties to the original founders of the football club. Size is 175mm x 115mm. Condition is good. Light folding creases. No Binding. Condition: Very Good. Autograph letter signed, one page. 17.5 x 11.2 cm. A brief autograph note from the 9th Duke of Argyll to a Mr Campbell. Writing from Kensington, Argyll thanks his correspondent for allowing him to see a copy of an "interesting letter", which he returns. The Duke writes: "Thanks for letting me se…e copy of interesting letter which I return." A short social note from the Scottish peer and head of the Campbell family. Folded as sent with light handling wear. Very good condition overall.
