This monograph in the Fauna Ibérica is the first volume of a revision of the subclass Collembola in the Iberian-Balearic area. It includes an introductory part about Collembola followed by descriptions of the species of Poduromorpha. The following families are covered: Poduridae, Hypogastruridae, Odontellidae, Neanuridae and Onichiuridae. 270 species from 61 genera are described. Every description is original and has been made from the species collections of different European museums and specialists. The samples are from the whole Iberian Balearic territory, but the North of Iberian Peninsula is bettter represented. The species are illustrated in 274 plates. Identification keys for all the species, the literature consulted and a careful revision of the scientific nomenclature are included. En esta monografía de Fauna Ibérica se presenta el primer volúmen de la revisión de la subclase Collembola del ámbito íbero-balear. Incluye una parte introductoria sobre los Collembola y a continuación la descripción de los Poduromorpha. Se consideran las familias Poduridae, Hypogastruridae, Odontellidae, Neanuridae y Onychiuridae. En total se describen 270 especies de Poduromorpha pertenecientes a 61 géneros. Todas las descripciones son originales a partir de las colecciones conservadas en diferentes museos europeos y de las colecciones de los autores. Las muestras estudiadas abarcan todo el territorio íbero-balear, pero está mejor representado el norte peninsular. Casi todas las especies están ilustradas en las 274 figuras que contiene el volumen. Se incluyen las claves de identificación para todas las especies, la bibliografía utilizada en la monografía y una cuidada revisión de la nomenclatura. Madrid.
