It follows the development of Christian Mission work throughout Colonial American as well as American Revolutionary times. Published in 1904, the book shows shelf wear on the outer boards and the spine is slightly loose on the interior of the front board. Original owner's name and date of 1910 are listed in pencil on front free end paper. Pages are tight and have no marks. A pen and ink portrait of the subject with copy of her signature graces the inside of the front leaf.
