    Hardcover. Condition: Fair. First Edition Thus. Hardback. 8vo. pp [6], xii, 405, [1]. Bound in half brown leather, over marbled boards, lettered gilt at the spine on red leather spine label. Two volumes bound in one. Translated by Thomas Beddoes, formerly attributed to William Beckford. The book was also published by Murray in London in 1791. Neat name of the period on front pastedown of one, Sarah Price Clarke. Some general rubbing and scuffing at spine and boards with slight loss to some of the marbling, nicks at head of spine and slight split along the middle but overall, sound, near very copy with clean text.
