The collection was published in two volumes in 1772 by Henry Sampson Woodfall, the owner and editor of a London newspaper, the Public Advertiser. In a half-morocco binding. Externally, sound, though… with some slight wear to the extremities. Joints are cracked. Internally, firmly bound. Bookplate to front pastedown, with ink signature to front free-endpaper. Pages are bright and clean, with just the odd spot. Good. None (illustrator). book.

Green cloth binding; decorative rules on the front cover; gilt lettering and publisher's decoration on the spine. Clean text; xxiv, 215 pages. Bright and unfoxed; very faint pencil signature on the FFEP. Corners rubbed to a slight fray, as are the head and foot of the spine. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Thus. Hard Cover. Very Good Plus/No Jacket.

The author is still unknown. This is a Good copy of what Que…rcus supposes to be the First Irish Edition, which has a note that it contains material not found in the English version. This is Volume One ONLY. Clean text; 241 pages, very bright and clear. Full leather binding; five raised bands and a red label on the spine. Rubbed at the margins, and the front board, while present, has detached. Its paste-down bears an interesting contemporary armorial bookplate, that of "Mr. Neil Ferguson, Advocate." Please note the condition issues. Although this is an attractive book, Quercus must offer it as a Binding Copy, in need of repair or restoration. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. First Thus. Full-Leather. Good/No Jacket.
