Dated March 1947.Craig was a prolific theatre director, producer, costume designer and early pioneer of the women's suffrage movement in England. She lived in a ménage à trois with the dramatist Christabel Marshall and the artist Clare 'Tony' Atwood from 1916 until 1947.With vignette illustrations throughout from C. Conway Gordon.With the bookplate of Nicolas McDowall to the front pastedown. McDowall was an artist and the founder of the Old Stile Press, a private press that produced its first book in 1981.A charming children's work.
