Hardcover. Condition: Good. Marion Bryan (illustrator). Very loved children's book.Colorful cover with beetle. Pages are tight, no tears or writing. Cover is board with fabric/tape spine. Spine is split on front but does not effect pages. Cover edges and corners have wear. Corners have 1/8' fraying approx. Library copy with stamp on front inside cover and front end paper. Name on front end paper. Still a really cute child's book with fun illustrations.Pages are not numbered but there are 7 stories about various bugs.

Marion Bryson (illustrator). The book itself is in good condition. There is some foxing to the textblock and some yellowing along the binding. The front endpage has an inscription. The binding is tight and the illustrations are still bright. The jacket is in poor condition: There are multiple tears and chips around the top and bottom edges of the jacket. There is a larger triangular tear on the lower left front cover and there is soiling around the edges of the jacket.

The book has some rubbing to the extremities, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with no other names or markings - and the aforenoted musty odor. The mylar protected dustjacket is in fair condition with a significantchip tot he front, additional chipping to spine that does not affect the title, closed tear to rear, overall soil from use.
