This is essentially a "chronicle of their experiences in the Great War 1914-18 contributed primarily by officers, with a forward by Colonel C.J. Troyte-Bullock D.S.O. who commanded the Battalion from its formation at Woking until severely wounded at Annois during the German advance in March 1918. 156pp.,2 maps, illustrations, honours and awards. A number contributing Officers have signed the page following on from the Foreword, including Col. Troyte-Bullock and A Foley.(who has also signed an inscription to his son on the endpaper) A Regimental Journal page (Light Bob Gazette) with a photograph of some of the contributors gathered around a formal dinner table and with Officers named has been affixed to the front endpaper. has some wear at head and tail of spine, else very good in part leather binding.
