But Night is persistently plagued by former clients who won't let him get past the title page of his potential Edgar Award mystery novel The Big Changeover. After too many false starts and near fatal distractions, Night finds himself on the treacherous trail of two missing objects. The first: an Imperial Fabergi Egg, The Tear of Russia, given by William Randolph Hearst over a half century ago to his mistress - --a Fabergi now valued at over ten million dollars. The second: his missing fianci, the beautiful Goldie Rose. It's soon evident that Goldie has been kidnapped, but by whom - and why? Both trails cross and double-cross with bodies piling up and suspects - including a Hollywood Sex Goddess, two illegally beautiful killer tomatoes, billionaire producers without morals, ex-KGB agents without conscience, and assorted assassins without allegiance. From the sophistry of Rodeo Drive to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Alex Night faces a fusillade of mayhem, murder and mystery. Who will be the first to unravel the mysteries - and the last to die? Don't bet against Alex Night. Signed by Author.…
