This finely produced monograph on Russian artist Naum Gabo (1890-1977), provides a comprehensive overview of his work across multiple media including constructions, sculptures, painting, drawings, and engravings. Includes b/w and color photographic reproductions of the artist's work throughout. Interior back cover contains a pocket housing a magnifying glass to view the artist's work. Final text pages include a biography and chronology of the artist's work. Includes introductory text at the front from English art historian Sir Herbert Edward Read and English architect Sir John Leslie Martin. Text throughout in French. Print with minor offsetting. Slipcase, dust jacket, binding and interior all in near fine condition overall.
