Note: various authors were given the task to take a little-known, unfinished story fragment written by Edgar Allan Poe near the end of his life and finish it, using Poe's language, images, and ideas. Among the many writers represented are George Clayton Johnson (Twilight Zone, Star Trek), William F. Nolan (Logan's Run), Scott Nicholson (Die Hard, Succession), etc.

This is copy 30 of 750, signed by King, Hill, Lansdale, etc. This copy comes in the very scarce wooden slipcase with a card reproducing the cover art laid in. The book is still sealed (the photos of the signatures are from another copy). This comes from the Stephen King collection of the late Tom Garner, of Texas.
