It is largely descriptions of the leading fighters and fights of the old prize ring with memoirs of the likes of Cribb, Belcher, Randall, Donnelly, Scroggins, Molineux and many other. This is volume one containing parts 1-28. 8vo. 680pp. Old half calf, raised bands, gilt lettering to spine, rubbed and worn. Marbled endpapers, hinge cracked.
