Self-wrappers (i.e., cover page is p. 1). First fifteen issues of this French journal devoted to the international art of the bookplate. The Association was found in 1939 but suspended its activities with the outbreak of war. It issued in 1939, in the words of the editor, only as a "bien simple dépliant que nous avons appelé No. 1." This is reproduced on the inside cover of the first issue, which was a double issue, nos. 1 & 2, for Christmas, 1945. Thus, the year refers only to the history of the association and is not a volume number. We have the first fifteen issues (fourteen items, since one issue is double). Number of pages varies from 4 (one issue, no. 4) to 16. No. 5 was misnumbered no. 4 and the mistake was corrected in ink on the face. Very good condition overall. In French; resumés of the contents in Dutch, English, Spanish, and Italian are usually included at the end of each issue.…
