Trosper, an Academy Award nominated (for "The Pride of St. Louis") American screenwriter, wrote sc…reenplays for many movies including "The Stratton Story", "One-Eyed Jacks", "Birdman of Alcatraz", and "Jailhouse Rock". The inscription reads "To Guy-A fellow warrior during the most hectic of all Ranger Campaigns - the filming of Darby's Rangers. With best wishes and esteem, Jim.
