Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Hard Cover. Very Good +/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. (1914) Two tan volumes with red and black bands on top and bottom. The text volume shows rubbing and wear with some soiling and light spots, especially to the front cover. The only flaw to the map volume is three small red splots on the back cover near the spine. The text volume concerns, Factors of Success in War, Organization of a Field Army, the Characteristics of the Fighting Troops, Cavalry and other Mounted Troops, The Royal Flying Corps, Artillery, Engineers, Infantry, Machine Guns, Means of Communication, Movements by Land and Sea, and Billets and Bivouacs. The second book contains 5 colored fold out maps as detailed in the text volume- Campaign of Manchuria, The Yalu, Liao-Yang, Sha-Ho and Strategical Map.
