      Leather bound. Condition: Near fine. First Edition Thus. Thick octavo, xvi, 368pp. Full alligator skin, dyed yellow. Title in gilt on green morocco label affixed to spine. Bond by Grace Bindings. Solid text block, light foxing throughout, a near fine example. Complete with twelve full-page color plates, including frontispiece. Originally from Devon, England, Alan and Maureen Grace relocated their bookbindery to Louisville, KY, with sponsorship from notable collector Armand Champa. Upon completing the rebinding of Champa's extensive library, the couple moved to Jacksonville, FL to continue their bookbinding business until Alan passed away in 2011. First edition of My Book of Beautiful Legends with illustrations by A.C. Michael, finely bound in alligator skin. (illustrator).
